These Wi-Fi access point enclosures have been specifically designed to enable Cisco Wi-Fi access points to be installed into environments where the access point would be prone to damage from liquids and dust. The photograph (left) shows a Cisco 802.11n model 1252 access point installed inside the APENCL1252AG6 model of enclosure box. This provides 3 x 2.4 GHz RP-TNC bulkhead antenna ports (top of enclosure) and 3 x 5 GHz bulkhead antenna ports (bottom of enclosure). An IP68 cable gland is fitted to the left of the enclosure for easy entry of the Ethernet data cable. The enclosure includes a back plate for easy mounting of the access point using its mouting bracket. Six antenna pigtail cables are provided to enable connection of the external antenna ports to the access point via 'screw fit' RP-TNC connectors.
The three models of enclosure support all Cisco 1200 series access points. Please reference the table below for guidelines on which of the three models of enclosure you require for your model of Cisco access point.
